IncubatorEurope Launch Event: « Reinventing EU Pubic Affairs Services »
IncubatorEurope - a new player on the EU public affairs market, has organized a launch event on April 29th, together with its partners: political information provider, DeHavilland EU and office space solutions provider, Silversquare.
IncubatorEurope is not yet another consultancy. It is the first full EU public affairs service provider on the market, a revolutionary concept: a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all existing EU public affairs services. It combines flexible office solutions with political intelligence services, and a wide range of consultancy and training services, covering both advocacy and funding areas. In the context of a growing Eurosceptism, it is essential to raise the awareness on the benefits EU funding programmes and policies can bring to stakeholders across Europe and beyond.
IncubatorEurope’s Managing Director, Roland Strauss, explained his mission, to provide an opportunity for everyone to benefit from the EU, by making EU public affairs services affordable and easily accessible for everyone.
At the core of IncubatorEurope’s activity is an innovative online application called “YourEUprofile” which identifies funding programmes, calls for proposals and policies relevant to the specific activity of any stakeholder. YourEUprofile is contrary to search tools, existing in abundance – it is ‘a find tool’, a disruptive innovation, which puts an end to the notion of “EU jungle”. The importance of this shift was also stressed by Lambert van Nistelrooij, MEP, represented by his assistant Marijn Verhees, who congratulated M Strauss on his behalf, for “taking on the challenge of developing YourEUprofile – an easy way for companies to determine what type of funds they can tap into and what European legislation currently being made concerns them”.
The two other business lines of IncubatorEurope – EUcoach and EUhub are based on an innovative ‘light & flexible’ business model, allowing the client to cut costs and engage with the EU in a much more efficient manner.
The IncubatorEurope launch event was attended by many stakeholders, including international corporations, NGOs and research organisations, looking for a solution to their EU public affairs needs. The IncubatorEurope team concluded the event with individual ‘testing sessions’ of their online tool YourEUprofile to show how organisations and individual stakeholders from any sector can benefit from funding and legislation issued by the EU.
